Catering Order Terms and Conditions



1.1 Orders must be sent between 9 am and 5 pm, from Monday to Friday.

1.2 Orders submitted by email ( will receive a response within 24hours from reception.

1.3 A confirmation email is sent to notify an order has been accepted and processed,

1.4 Customers can submit orders for delivery, pick up or full service.

1.4.1 A delivery can be carried out only when the delivery address is located within a 200m radius from 338 Pitt St, Sydney. A wider radius will be considered but may be charged an extra fee.

1.4.2 A pick us is an order that will be completed at the chosen pick up time. Orders that are refused because collected late or can no longer be picked up due will not be refunded.

1.4.3 A full-service order is an order that requires both delivery and waiting or kitchen staff.

1.5 An order may be changed up to 24 hours before the delivery/collection date and time. Modifications requests submitted past this time may be rejected due to foods and drinks having already been prepared.


2.1 Orders that are under $500 will be payable on the order delivery/collection date and time.

2.2 Orders that are over $500 require a 20% deposit upon ordering and will be payable in full 24 hours before the delivery/collection date and time.

2.3 All payments are handled by Invoice2go and Stripe. Your data, as well as your bank or credit card details,  will be processed in compliance with the current Australian Law.

2.4 A 10% late payment fee may be charged when payment is 7+ days overdue.

2.4.1 A further 10% late payment fee per day may be charged when payment is 20+ days overdue.


3.1 An order may be cancelled only in writing (

3.2 A deposit is refundable (minus the expenses already incurred for the preparation of the order) up to 48 hours before the delivery/collection date and time, after which time a deposit becomes non-refundable.

3.3 If a cancellation occurs after the invoice due date, the total on the invoice is payable in full and non-refundable, since resources and materials may have already been allocated and transformed for the production of the order. We strongly encourage our customers to verify all information and inform us as soon as possible when a cancellation is needed.


4.1 We accommodate and cater for most dietary requirements; however, we care to stress that despite our greatest care in handling food, the environment in which the food in manipulated and cooked may contain traces of allergens and eventuate in cross-contamination (particular attention to nut and gluten allergies). 

4.2 People with severe food allergies and intolerances are strongly recommended to seek our staff advice.

4.3 Macchiato Woodfire Pizza and Coffee Roaster handles:

* Wheat, Oats, Barley and other grains containing gluten.
* Milk
* Tree Nuts
* Cocoa
* Seafood and shellfish
* Alcohol

4.4 Culture or religion-related requirements follow the same guidelines. Our meat suppliers are halal and kosher certified; however, our kitchens handle, cook and prepare pork, alcohol, and so on. Please let us know if in need of special care and attention for orders that need to be processed for halal/kosher customers.


5.1. At Macchiato we care about the quality and freshness of our produces. With daily deliveries of vegetables and meats, should we not be able to prepare one the foods you have requested due to unavailability on our suppliers' end, Macchiato reserves the right to slightly change your order to give you the best possible product. Of course, we will inform you of such changes.

5.2 At Macchiato, we care about the environment and the planet we live on, and for this, we are committed to using as little plastic as possible, and to provide as much of our disposable supplies as possible in the form of recyclable or biodegradable materials. These materials have a much higher cost than plastic, and for this, the charge of disposables may seem higher than usual. We have noticed that only a few of our customers require disposables, reason why we have kept those out of our pricing and left them as add-ons.

5.3 Despite our best efforts to transport your order from Macchiato to your place of delivery in the quickest possible time, to keep your food hot and fresh, our deliveries are carried out on foot, and especially during the colder months of the year, this may cause a drop in the temperature of your food. Of course, we will do our best to minimise this and deliver your order 'nice and hot'.
