Goya Torres is a visual/street-artist based in Lake Macquarie, originally from Mexico. Her practice blurs the line between fine arts, street art and illustration to develop a contemporary language that encapsulates reality today. Her expression travels through painting, drawing, public art, mural work and printmaking. She draws inspiration from her heritage, nature, mortality and the pop surrealism movement.
